CISCO Looking for Software Engineer (Intern)

Cisco Systems, Inc. is an American multinational corporation technology company headquartered in San Jose, California, that designs, manufactures and sells networking equipment worldwide. It is the largest networking company in the world.

Experience Required:  Intern

Location: Bangalore

Eligibility: Typically requires studies in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent. Students should currently have junior or senior standing as an undergraduate. Graduate level students will be considered.

Job Role:  This position typically reports to an IT Manager and with a project manager setting day-to-day goals and providing work direction. Interfaces with IT team, IT Analysts and business partners.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide technical input to requirementsIdentify technology solution options (e.g. alternative approaches, results of impact and analysis)Create or contribute to software designDesign, develop and maintain complete solutions using custom code, middleware and packaged applications and integrate these into the existing operational environment.Conduct unit tests and performance tuning (e.g. write test cases; troubleshoot and fix bugs)Support integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing and software deploymentProduce high quality documentation (e.g. Document design, code, and processes to ensure reuse)Communicate status (e.g. report on progress; timely escalation of issues and risks)Continuously learn new tools, technologies, and strategies
