Musk is a financial technology company that is trying to bridge the financing gap faced by Indian SMEs.
Our first product ‘Musk Supply Chain Finance’ helps large and mid-market companies extend the benefit of traditional SCF to their entire supply chains. It helps them optimize their working capital while improving the health of complete supply chain.
We partner with Financial Institutes to make such programs a reality. Our solution provides an innovative, low risk avenue for FIs to meet their PSL targets profitably. Our technology platform delivers superior results in form of improved ROA, better risk management and higher program utilization.
Musk Plans to hire off-site interns for next 2 months who can work part-time along with academics. They will be called on-site (Bangalore) in summer if the engagement goes well.
The stipend will be between 10k to 15k per month.
In terms of criteria, would look at their past experience and projects that they've done. Grades and CGPA is not a selection criterion.

Frontend Developer - Internship

Role & Responsibility
•Build responsive and elegant mobile+desktop website for Musk
•Understand business requirements and convert into functional specifications
•Work with designers, product manager to collaboratively design system and architecture
•Define development plans, timelines and deliver accordingly
Required Skills
•Expert level knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
•Knowledge of performance, cross-browser issues and strategies for designing compatible UI
•Experience with JSON, XML
•Experience in any one of the MVC frameworks.
•Self-driven, highly skilled & proficient
•Love for developing scalable, responsive and adaptive web-apps
Bonus Points
•Good knowledge and hands on in: Browser-server interactions, Event and object modeling, DOM manipulation, Programming patterns, AJAX libraries and tools.

Backend Developer - Internship

Role & Responsibility
•Work with tech lead to architect and develop the platform’s backend, from scratch
•Design and own product components, from initial technology to scale
•Write high performing code that deploys to production multiple times a day
•Make key architectural decisions as well as solve scaling challenges
•Strengthen or improve development and release processes within the team
•Collaborate with the team and communicate effectively, to solve problems and build, extend, optimize and refactor the back-end architecture
Required Skills
•Knowledge and experience in any one of core back-end programming language (PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, Clojure, Scala etc.)
•Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
•Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
•Data migration, transformation, and scripting
•User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
•Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
•Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
•Understanding of RESTful APIs and services is a plus
•Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
•The right candidate loves programming, ships code to production quickly and is passionate about building products for web & mobile.
